Carlsberg India's Mysuru brewery has won the prestigious National Safety Council, India (NSCI) Shreshtha Suraksha Puraskar – Silver award in the manufacturing sector.

Mysuru brewery has the best Safety statistics on leading and lagging indicators including 5 years without lost time incident. Winning a silver this year is a testament to our commitment to uphold exemplary health and Safety standards across Carlsberg India's manufacturing units. 

National Safety Council is a premier nonprofit self-financing tripartite apex body set up by the Ministry of Labor and Employment, Government of India. The process of selection for the awards include a multistage evaluation process comprising online application, site review and 

jury presentation besides a confidential feedback from the Factories department & the Pollution control board on the organization's commitment & adherence to the required standards on Health, Safety & Environment. The award selection committee review H&S performance for three calendar years. The award committee members includes eminent personalities from the Government, industry and educational institutes.
